In December 31st of 2016, The Cavoli Barn officially opened. It was a 20-year dream of the Cavoli Family. “Basketball has always been a huge part of my life. Since I was ten years old, I have played, trained, coached, and watched more games than I can count. We wanted to provide a facility to our family, friends, and those around us where we can use the great sport of basketball to enhance the lives of young people.” - Greg Cavoli, Cavoli Barn Commissioner In the first four years, the Barn has been excited to be the home for hundreds of players who have trained, practiced, and played in the Barn. It has been a home for teams from the Team Pennsylvania AAU Club, Central Dauphin Select Travel, Central Dauphin Area Basketball Association (Rec), Brightbill Summer League, and several other programs. The Barn has developed certain guiding principles along the way that all players must adhere to. Below is what it takes to be certified as #BARNTRAINED: • I give 110% every time I step in the Barn. I know what is written on the Scorer’s Table is law: “GO HARD OR GO HOME.” • I will be in better shape than anyone I play. They may be taller, bigger, or faster. I do not care because I do Crossfit…..and they do not. • I play defense first or I may not be invited back to the Barn. I play man-to-man only. I pressure the ball always. If I get scored on, I am held accountable. Those players who show this level of commitment earn themselves a “Cavoli Barn Locker.” Since opening in 2016, sixteen players have earned a locker. We are thrilled to share the Cavoli Barn with you and we hope you have an unforgettable experience. Sincerely, The Cavoli Family; Greg, Andrea, Julia, Megan, Lauren, Michael, and Coby (the mascot)The Cavoli Barn Board; Corey Dickerson, Taylor Dippery, Daron Dickerson
